Kodak Portra 400 film has earned its reputation as one of the world's finest grain high-speed color negative films. With a true ISO 400 speed, Portra 400 offers unmatched performance, reproducing spectacular skin tones and exceptional color saturation in a variety of lighting conditions.
The new Portra 400 120 film is a perfect choice for photographers specializing in portraits and fashion photography, where capturing the natural beauty of the subject is emphasized. The strengths of Kodak Portra 400 also make it ideal for nature, travel, and outdoor photography, where fast action or unpredictable lighting can make it difficult to capture the perfect shot. With its fine grain, exceptional color accuracy, and wide exposure latitude, this film provides the versatility and quality that professionals demand. Whether you're shooting in the studio or outdoors, Portra 400 film is a reliable option you cannot beat.
FAQs:
Kodak recommends storing your Portra 400 film at 21°C (70°F) or lower in its original packaging. For extended storage periods, you can preserve consistency by storing the film at 13°C (55°F). If you do choose to store your Portra 400 film in the refrigerator, allow the film to warm up to room temperature before opening the package to avoid moisture from condensing on the surface of the film.
Kodak Portra 400 film is a relatively fast and grainy film stock. Underexposed shots with this film can result in noisy images with details lost in shadow. You can avoid this by shooting in proper lighting and by adjusting your camera's ISO and shutter speed.
