Fluorescent photography lighting offers a versatile and cost-effective solution for photographers and videographers looking to enhance their shots with consistent, efficient lighting. Whether you're looking to capture stunning portraits, effective product shots, or anything in between, our selection of photography fluorescent lights and kits has you covered.

Fluorescent photography lighting offers a soft, diffused glow that provides even illumination, reducing the appearance of harsh shadows and blemishes. Fluorescent lights come in a variety of color temperatures, ranging from warm white to cool white, and can be adjusted to match other light sources. With low heat emission and long lamp life, these photography fluorescent lights are also highly energy efficient, making them a great choice for both indoor and outdoor shoots.

What Shutter Speed Is Best for Fluorescent Photography Lighting?

The best shutter speed for fluorescent photography lighting depends on the type of shot you want to achieve. However, as a general guideline, a shutter speed of 1/60th to 1/125th of a second is a good starting point when using fluorescent photography lighting. This is because most fluorescent lights flicker at a frequency of 50-60 Hz, which is around 1/50th to 1/60th of a second.

What Is the Difference Between Tungsten and Fluorescent Photography Lighting?

Photography fluorescent lights produce a wide range of color temperatures and are more efficient than tungsten lights. Tungsten lights produce warm, yellowish tones that can produce harsher and more directional light compared to fluorescent photography lighting.
