Ideal candidates must have knowledge of the latest digital point and shoot cameras, prosumer and professional camera equipment, large format digital camera systems, video equipment, i.e., video cameras, video editing, decks, sound, lighting and computer experience. Candidates must have prior retail sales experience, excellent customer service skills and available to work weekends. We seek a polished professional that thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties:

• Sells a broad range of products to customers and works to achieve the highest-level of customer satisfaction
• Resolve specific customer questions
• Accurately operate point of sale system, being sure to capture proper sales information for all transactions.

Samy's Camera has an immediate opening for a professional person to help out in our Santa Ana Mini Lab. We are seeking a motivated, hard working individual who prides him/herself on time-management and professional results, someone who is capable of troubleshooting when minor problems arise in the lab. Ideal candidate must have a strong back ground in lab production. We seek a polished professional that thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties:

Include printing, scanning and retouching in a photography-based environment. Must pay exceptional attention to detail and be proficient at color correction. Must have excellent customer service skills and available to work weekends.

Required skills:

Proficient on PC/MAC platforms, Photoshop-Retouching / Repair / Processing RAW files, Color management with large format printing using Noritsu QSS Green, and Canon Printers, plus scanning prints and negatives.

Cinema Product Manager

Samy's Camera is looking for a Full Time experienced Cinema Products Product Manager who is passionate about finding products that our customers will love

Current experience in Cinema Production or a Cinema Retail environment required. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company's vision and strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Identify the Newest, AND Coolest products in the marketplace to see if they can be added to our assortment.
• Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
• Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with and our vendors. Communicate with our stores directly for input and feedback from our customers.
• Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
• Translate product strategy into detailed marketing and merchandising requirements.
• Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact. Education, Events, In Store and Digital merchandising.
• Work closely with distribution, marketing, and store teams to deliver quick time-to-market and optimal return on investment
• Drive product launches including working with our marketing team, executives, and other product management team members for maximum results
• Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
• Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding within the company

Skills

• Proven work experience in product management specifically with Cinema Products
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
• Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in purchasing and inventory management
• Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job
• Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams
